REMICADE for Crohn’s in Adults
Crohn's putting your life on hold? Help put flare-ups on hold.
If you have moderate to severe Crohn’s and have tried other therapies without success, REMICADE may be able to help keep your Crohn’s under control.
- REMICADE helps put Crohn’s into remission and relieves symptoms by binding and blocking the effects of TNF-alpha, a protein involved in the inflammation process.
- Many patients have achieved response in as little as two weeks and continue to have freedom from flare-ups through ongoing therapy.
- REMICADE may also help you reduce or stop steroid use. Only your gastroenterologist can decide whether reducing or stopping steroids is appropriate for you.
- A 54-week medical study showed that when REMICADE is given as maintenance therapy, one out of every four patients (who were taking steroids) was able to achieve remission and discontinue steroids, compared to approximately one out of every ten patients who received a single infusion of REMICADE.
- REMICADE is for patients with moderate to severe Crohn's whose disease is still active despite treatment with other therapies.
- REMICADE is not for everyone. Individual results may vary. Please read Important Safety Information below and the Medication Guide for REMICADE and discuss with your doctor.
