Living with rheumatoid arthritis
My name is Donna. I have 2 grown children and work as a medical assistant. I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in my early 30s. My hands were swollen and they weren’t functioning like I needed them to. Other joints hurt too, but the hands seemed to be the worst.
Treating rheumatoid arthritis
It took a while for my doctor to diagnose my moderately to severely active rheumatoid arthritis, and then I was on 4 different medications trying to find something that would work. I just wasn’t getting the level of relief I needed until my doctor suggested adding REMICADE® to my methotrexate regimen.
Results with REMICADE®
At first I was worried about the time it would take to get infusions, but now I realize that I get to sit for 2 hours, read a book, or whatever. My hands have improved—I feel it when I overdo it—but day to day my symptoms are much better. REMICADE® works for me.
Donna’s experience is representative of people with moderately to severely active rheumatoid arthritis who have responded to therapy with REMICADE® under a doctor’s supervision. Individual results may vary.
