REMICADE® dosing is based on your individual weight, which a doctor or nurse will check before each infusion. This means that you get the amount of medication that’s right for you. Your doctor can also adjust your REMICADE® dose as your needs change based on your rheumatoid arthritis symptoms.
If your REMICADE® dose has to be increased, it is important to talk with your doctor about the increased possibility of infection.
With REMICADE®, you may require treatment only once every 8 weeks—a 2-hour infusion given by a doctor or nurse—after 3 starter doses. That's as few as 6 treatments a year.
